A generous 3 stars for 7 west, Oh, man...where to start? When we pulled into the lot, I thought it was a condemned building, so we went around to the other lot which was just as eerie looking. These reviews do it no justice....it's pretty bad. So, why the 3 stars you ask? The staff was friendly at check-in (You have to call them on an old phone so they come to the desk btw)The room was actually ok. Smelled nice and clean, beds were nice and clean, slept good, decent shower - albeit time for a reno. We are well rested after a parking lot party with total strangers til 2 a.m....bahaha. Would we stay again though?? Damn straight we would. For a hundred bucks what more do ya want?Response; No explanation necessary. I'm aware of all of the hoops you have to jump through and appreciate the efforts. Keep up the good work, and we will see you next time!
Stayed 1 night, very friendly staff and very welcoming. Helpful with all requests. Rooms could be a little more updated and does not look the nicest/ cleanest on the outside. It's good for a place to rest your head for a night.
Probably the most prestigious and cleanest motel I've ever stayed in from here to Griffith and back down to Tamworth. I've stayed in many a motel all across this vast provence and I'm telling you this owner has hit the copper nail on the head. A very rustic look on the outside that would intrigue the attention of a hummingbird, followed up by an extremely clean, cozy, and efficient climate controlled room with very comfortable beds.

The room wasn't as nice as I'd hoped, given the photos of the updated rooms. The hot water tap was broken, there were rust stains in the tub. Other than that, the room seemed clean. My biggest concern was the clerk at the front. He was not friendly at all and the second he knew I was part of a wedding, I was read the riot act about no parties and no damage to the room. I assured him I'm 37 and just need a place to sleep after being in a wedding party up the road. I was still chastised and condescended to for another few minutes. It soured the entire experience for me and my partner, and we were looking forward to giving this place a real try now that they're upgrading their facilities. We'll be going across the street to Baron's next time.
