Food and service were excellent. They open earlier than most places so they catch the early bird trade. Prices are reasonableAnd there's lots of parking.
Hearty specials fill your belly from soup to dessert all included! Servers are on you... in and out fast if your waiting for the bus etc.
We were driving late one evening from Ottawa and the children were hungry and we didn't know where to stop. Based on Google, we stopped here. We were so happy we did! The meals were delicious, the menu was varied and everyone got what they wanted. The portions were generous and price reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
A great menu will all your favorite road-side fare. Reasonable prices and the service was friendly and fast. Ample parking and an excellent spot for people-watching. Limited desserts but a senior and kids menu is available.
For a family restaurant, the quality of food is probably one of the better, the amount of food per dollar has got to be close to the best, but the service (unless you get a specific server) is quite slow. It is a quiet, small town restaurant that is worth the drive to Carleton Place, about 20 minutes outside the west end of Ottawa on the 7. Excellent place to relax and enjoy your meal alone, with the family, or even a place to have small or quite a large venue for business or family reunion, as I know they can handle it.
